Now to surpass this brief e-fame with my next project!!

I'm still not over the fact that Puru quit the cosplay group (most likely cuz she didn't get her way in costume choice), but putting that aside I am still extremely excited about the cosplay!
I've been acquiring materials slowly and just last week I was able to purchase some pretty nice (and light! and cheap!) oakwood to make the props/swords.

Today I finally got down to actually drawing the design on the darned thing and it has been quite a challenge. I'm so happy I'm actually doing it myself. I look at this piece of wood and get so excited! This is gonna rock!!

It's been really hard to find reference pics for this woman, but I found a handy dandy site with very detailed pics of the costumes. Take note boys and girls.

Also, I'm not one to take the time or effort to put together an ensemble like this, so I've already found a suitable costume maker for the part, he'll make anything!. That's right the chan comissions her stuff...

I was testing out the makeup (will need loads more black eyeshadow =_= ) and getting into the character mood, considering I've never seen this show or read the manga...
